POSITION SUMMARY* FULL-TIME & PART-TIME SERVERS NEEDED! Applicants are expected to have at least one (1) full year of serving experience; those with fine dining and current TIPS certification being preferred. Applicants will be considered for all restaurants depending on ability and need. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Set tables, stock service stations with supplies, beverages and condiments Take orders for food and/or beverages and serve to customers Clean, refresh and straighten service station and other work areas Work in a very busy, fast paced environment Handle both ala carte and buffet dining options simultaneously Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times. Follow the Resort Etiquette Guidelines while interacting with the guest and respond to all guests in a courteous efficient manner Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements. Other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must have at least one year of serving experience Must be minimum 18 years of age One-year fine dining serving experience, preferred Current TIPS certification, preferred Adhere to all safety policies Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with SSRC's Service Excellence standards Ski/snowboard at an intermediate level for certain locations The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits. Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: $11.40 per hour plus tips PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
