NetSuite Developer

Position Summary:

This NetSuite Developer position will be responsible for working on new features, integrations, and enhancements to support the needs of the organization within our NetSuite environments. Help troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues to find and resolve root cause.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)

• Lead the design, development, support, and documentation of NetSuite customizations.
• Assist in the estimation of work effort, determination of required resources and schedule development.
• Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and other members of the technology team to deliver high-quality solutions that align with our business objectives.
• Continuously evaluate and look to improve our NetSuite ecosystem.
• Be a subject matter expert for all things related to NetSuite Development.
• Participate in peer code reviews and regular team stand-ups.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation and process diagrams to help understand current and future state of our overall system, workflows, integrations, and other touch points.
• Facilitate integration with additional applications and/or platforms.
• Keep up to date with the latest NetSuite updates and best practices.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years of NetSuite development with proficiency in SuiteScripts, Suitelets, and Workflows.
• Experience with the SuiteCloud Development Framework.
• Experience in front-end and back-end software design and development and related technologies, including:

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript
• JSON and XML
• REST and SOAP
• NodeJS
• DBMS/SQL

• Experience with most of the following:

• JIRA / Confluence
• Git (GitHub)
• CI/CD

• Track record of resolving integration ang technical issues.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Experience with NetSuite object customizations and organization.
• Nice to have: NetSuite Application Developer Certification.

Special Requirements: Occasional weekend work as required to meet business needs
