Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Support Systems (OSS) Principal Operations Analyses. The OSS Principal Operations Analyses will be responsible for overseeing the evaluation of our systems to ensure the smooth functioning of our network and services. The Principal's expertise will be crucial in optimizing processes, enhancing system performance, and resolving complex technical issues to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business and telecom installation processes and assist in developing optimization strategies.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to streamline operations.
  • Conduct meetings with stakeholders to gather critical information; analyze data and present findings including themes and ideas for solutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams impacted by provisioning of data, video and voice services. Act as a senior point of contact for escalated and complex OSS issues.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to investigate complex technical problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports.
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, users, operations and development teams.
  • Develop and implement best practices for OSS. management, including automation of routine tasks and procedures.
  • Continuously assess system performance metrics and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Service as a subject matter expert on OSS platforms.
  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies related to OSS and telecommunications.
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation of OSS requirements, configurations, processes and procedures.
  • Generate regular reports on system performance, incident resolution, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with OSS vendors to resolve issues, implement upgrades, and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
  • Evaluate new OSS solutions and participate in vendor selection processes as needed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of ten to fifteen years as a technical leader in telecommunications with demonstrated expertise in operations analysis and quality.
  • Minimum of ten years experience with telecommunications network architecture, protocols, and technologies.
  • Expertise in OSS platforms such as AlticeLabs, Amdocs, Netcracker, or similar systems.
  • Hands on experience with Carrier Ethernet technologies, standards, and protocols.
  • Familiarity with TMForum Open Digital Architecture (ODA), Process Framework (eTOM) and Information Framework (SID).
  • Strong vendor and stakeholder management experience.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills; ability to communicate effectively with internal business partners at all levels.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $155,509.00-$222,156.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
