Exciting opportunity alert! Staffmark is hiring a PrePress Operator in Westlake Village, CA. If you're passionate about quality control and enjoy working closely with production and sales teams, this role might be perfect for you!

Pay Rate: $20 - $25/hr

Shifts Available:



  • Day Shift: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Evening Shift: Monday - Friday | 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Possible Saturdays


Responsibilities:



  • Receive, review, and verify order specifications and instructions from the project manager.
  • Use copy templates and instructions to create order workflow documents. Develop and verify programming logic for workflow documents.
  • Ensure variable data imaging meets press, production, device, and postal specifications. Create and verify files and reports for production and sales.
  • Collaborate with production to resolve press imaging issues. Develop and code program logic, make decisions on font/image placement, and maintain up-to-date technical skills.
  • Maintained proofing and plating output devices, archived and backed up files, and performed other duties as assigned. Be prepared for overtime and weekend work as needed.


Required Skills:



  • Experience with lithographic file prep, correction, proofing, imposition, plate rendering, and variable data programming.
  • Ability to design, code, and test programs according to customer specifications.
  • Strong quality control and accuracy skills.
