Product Manager

Position Summary:

The main function of a product manager is to maximize sales, revenue, market share, and profit margins by leading a team to deliver an end product. The typical product manager guides the delivery of a product through its life cycle.

Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with other company departments to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
  • This person will drive customer connection and sales conversion activities using customer service chatbots/ agents.
  • Internalize and deeply understand Samsung's mission and strategies, as well as the mission and objectives of the eCommerce team.
  • Author user stories, and acceptance criteria and execute a portion of the testing on projects.
  • Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with cross-functional internal teams as well as external partners to execute.
  • Ensure product quality expectations are defined and known across the team.
  • Be data-centric to make informed product direction, whether in the form of competitive intel, A/B Testing, customer behavior, customer contact ticket analysis, or other business metrics. Solicit and embrace critical feedback.
  • Will work closely with customer service, engineering, UX designers, Marketing, and Site Merchandising team.
  • Monitor and measure launched products and feed learnings back into the product development process.
  • Clearly communicate product plans, benefits, and results, as appropriate, to both internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
  • Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • Author user stories, and acceptance criteria and execute a portion of the testing on projects.
  • Ensure product quality expectations are defined and known across the team.



Requirements:



  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years experience required.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
