Quality Receiving Inspector

• We currently have an opening in the Cockeysville / Hunt Valley, MD area for a Receiving Inspector. Must be able to read blueprints and have experience using inspection tools/equipment such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, thread gauges, microscopic inspection, etc.

• Quality inspection on incoming goods.
• Participate in government and customer source inspections.
• Identify, document, and control non-conforming material to ensure compliance to SOP.
• Support with Quality Management System and customer audits.

• A minimum of three years of experience in quality inspection or applicable experience is required.
• Knowledge of inspection tools/equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, thread gauges, microscopic inspection, etc.
• Ability to read blueprints or follow inspections plans.
• Ability to obtain IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 certifications is required.
• Excellent record keeping and organizational skills.
• Candidates should have an intermediate skill-level with computers (will interact with databases, etc.).

• Vision systems (or CMM experience) is a plus, but not required
• IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 certifications are a plus, but not required.

• Dry room atmosphere - low humidity, air conditioned - 25% of time

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
