IPS EMPLOYMENT SUPERVISOR FULL TIME- NON EXEMPT Thrive Behavioral Health, theCertified Community Behavioral Health Clinicfor Kent County, has been delivering mental health and substance use services since 1976. With more than a dozen locations across Rhode Island and more than 300 employees, Thrive is continuing to grow and meet the needs of the community. General Summary: Provides oversight to the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) supported employment program. Ensures good program outcomes by providing training, supervision, and by working side-by-side with employment specialists (field mentoring). Attempts to meet most people who receive IPS services. Monitors outcomes and implements quality improvement plans. Acts as a liaison to other departments and agencies. Supervises up to ten employment specialists. Provides IPS supported employment services for a caseload of two or three people. Education, Experience and Competencies:
Certifications, Licenses Requirements: Supported Employment Professional Certification or IPS Certification may replace one (1) year of experience in education or experience. Valid driver's license and automobile insurance which meets Rhode Island minimum standards required, or the ability to obtain necessary transportation in order to perform the responsibilities/tasks of the job. All employees are considered benefit eligible if their schedule is 17.5 hours per week or more. Time-off balances are pro-rated for part-time employees.
