For our Multi-Disciplinary Oncology (MDO) business we are looking for a staff accountant to support the MDO Finance team, with a focus on our rapidly growing Advanced Oncology Solutions (AOS) business. We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Staff Accountant with a focus on invoicing, billing, and revenue support. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial operations and will assist in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

Invoicing and Billing:

  • Prepare, review, and send invoices to clients promptly.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all invoices by verifying relevant information.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and coordinate with clients to resolve billing issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of all billing transactions.

Revenue Support:

  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including revenue recognition and adjustments. Reconcile revenue accounts and ensure accuracy of revenue reports.
  • Analyze revenue trends and provide insights to management.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports related to Revenue & Expenses.

Customer Relations:

  • Act as a point of contact for clients regarding invoicing and billing inquiries for the AOS business.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to resolve client issues and ensure satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal departments to facilitate smooth financial operations.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline invoicing and billing processes.
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in revenue support functions.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-3+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on invoicing, billing, journal entry, payables experience and revenue support.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Required: QuickBooks, Banking institutes Plus: SAP).
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

The base pay range for this position is

Min $57,200 - Max $97,400

The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
