SUMMARY
The Clip Express Account Representative works hand in hand with the inside sales reps, outside sales reps, managers, customers and engineers to provide customer service and support regarding clips, connectors and other accessories distributed by Clip Express.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as customer contact for all Order Management.
- Responsible for clip order entry, price quotations, sales assistance, logistics, and technical support.
- Instrumental in new clip product launches, identifying and creating sales opportunities.
- Responsible for relationship building, market strategy, profit and loss, and clip forecasting.
- Initiates production cycle by receiving and entering orders for production.
- Reviews pricing & product for accuracy.
- Works with the Clip Express Sales Manager to meet or exceed company metrics.
- Coordinates & schedules daily shipping schedule while working with shipping coordinator.
- Advises customer of ship dates and times, schedules daily truck schedule with accurate delivery dates , follow up to assure on time delivery.
- Serves as customer contact for all Quote management.
- Enters quotes with pricing guidelines.
- Faxes or emails quotes to customers and sales reps., follows up on current quotes.
- Tracks and follows up on quotes.
- Establishes regular communication with sales representative base &; logs significant discussions in CRM.
- Communicates pertinent information to territory managers and plant management.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Dispatches literature requests.
- Resolves sales adjustments (credits) coordinates returns/pick-ups, logs necessary incident utilizing CRMs.
- Attends regularly scheduled sales training meetings.
- Assists other reps with duties when needed.
- Limited travel to assigned territory.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Detail orientated.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Excellent Microsoft office skills.
- Strong interest in continuous improvement.
- Ability to work with offsite locations to resolve problems.
- Strong work ethic.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience selling in a manufacturing environment.
- The military equivalent will be recognized in lieu of education and/or experience.
