Price Modern, an Employee Owned Best in Class Haworth Dealer, is searching for an experienced Project Manager in the Baltimore and Washington DC metro area. This position will support our Account Executives teams on all aspects of our client projects; from checking and planning all the way through project closeout. They are the single point of contact for schedule coordination and on-site supervision to maintain quality assurance and accuracy. Our Project Managers must not only know how to manage their project caseload. They must also manage the relationship with all the different stakeholders involved in the project implementation.

Price Modern is a hybrid environment (3 days in/ 2 days out) following our initial 1-2 months of in person training. Please review specific details regarding the job below.

Requirements

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in defining the project plan with the team
  • Review bids and create project specific bid response work examples and take offs as required
  • Maintain detailed documentation; status reports, revisions, meeting minutes, etc
  • Conduct specification and drawing reviews prior to order placement. Assure specifications are tagged properly for accurate shipping and delivery
  • Review all manufacturer order acknowledgements for accuracy
  • Develop and manage work plans, schedules and logistics tracking
  • Review project site for special conditions that will affect pricing and adequate progress prior to installation
  • Review project scope with Installation Foreman prior to start. Responsible for all installation documentation
  • Single point of contact to coordinate dealer, client and third-party resources necessary for a successful installation
  • On-site supervision of installation services
  • Assure client expectation and satisfaction is met
  • Conduct and complete on-site installation punch and coordination of replacement product
  • Assess project completion through joint client walkthrough and obtains all approval signatures
  • Other duties as assigned

Training, Education, Experience, Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required, or equal number years of industry related experience
  • 3 (Jr.)-7 (Sr.) yrs experience in managing FF&E, design and specification projects
  • Highly proactive and able to research / present solutions to complex issues
  • Strong critical thinking, planning, collaboration and execution skills
  • Ability to work with different stakeholders within the business (C-Suite, department leads, end users, etc.)

Working Conditions: Office environment, but frequent local travel to job sites is required. Hours will include early morning, evening and some weekends based on installation schedules.
