Job Description
GDS Associates, Inc. has an opportunity for a Field Technician in the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Department based out of the Augusta, ME office. This person will be responsible for supporting the Efficiency Maine Commercial & Industrial Prescriptive Initiatives. The individual will provide advice and recommendations on projects to customers and contractors, complete eligibility review of incentive applications and complete on-site inspections. They may have to present presentations and program training to customers and/or contractors as needed. The candidate will be based out of their home office but may spend multiple days a week in the field working with commercial/industrial customers and Qualified Partners (contractors). As a liaison for the energy-efficiency program, the individual will need to be self-motivated, well organized and highly skilled with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. This is a telecommuting position; however, the selected candidate will need to live in the state of Maine. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 (annualized USD). The typical salary range for this position is just one component of the firm's total compensation package.
