What you will do

  • Craft detailed user stories in Jira or similar agile lifecycle management tools, translating complex business requirements into actionable tasks for development teams
  • Support product processes, logic, and B2B exchanges (including EDI) to analyze production issues, create business cases, and guide project scope
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, document business capabilities, and refine assets as needed.

  • Conduct thorough analysis, including use case modeling, data modeling, and process mapping, to understand stakeholder needs and identify improvement opportunities

  • Utilize querying tools and relational database knowledge to identify data issues and resolutions
  • Leverage data warehouse concepts and experience with data engineering and analysis tools to examine big-data workflows and identify optimization and functional improvement opportunities
  • Provide feedback on database designs and software process architecture and translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models, driving implementation alongside other architects and technical leaders
  • Apply advanced facilitation and process improvement skills to lead process redesigns and support initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide other development teams within the department
  • Lead the development and execution of strategic optimization projects for applications, aligning them with overall business goals
  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize applications for improved efficiency and user experience
  • Identify and champion opportunities for automation and intelligent software replacements for manual optimization tasks
  • Identify, assess, and proactively communicate project risks, developing mitigation plans as needed
  • Support the implementation of change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions for end-users

  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure delivered solutions meet requirements and quality standards

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, information systems, business, or a related field
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in participating in the design and implementation of relational databases, data engineering and analysis processes, and service-oriented or microservice software systems
