Web Developer, Intermediate Public Relations and Marketing Communications Georgia State University Apply for an excellent opportunity to join an internal enterprise digital team in the heart of Downtown Atlanta. Working with partners across the university, Public Relations and Marketing Communications develops strategies and implements plans and initiatives that foster open and honest communication, the foundation of that trust. Our goal is to produce clear and consistent communication that is fundamental to establishing and maintaining our credibility and building support for our university. The Division of Public Relations and Marketing Communications (PRMC) at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a Web Developer, Intermediate at its downtown Atlanta location. This position uses WordPress to serve content to a range of external audiences to achieve a dynamic set of goals. These developers create digital experiences to dynamically present new and fresh information to possibly hundreds of thousands of interested visitors. Each web developer must be skilled at the website development process and take advantage of the extensive project management, ticketing, assessment, concept, and site-building tools the university makes available. We're looking for an individual who possesses technical and interpersonal skills as their job activities continually bounce between the management aspects of WordPress and meaningful collaborative institutional relationships with others at the university. WHAT WILL YOU DO: Daily, this position work with others who manage marketing, communication, and outcomes assessment to support their assigned units' vision, mission, and strategic plan. To accomplish these goals requires a meaningful contribution to the planning of market communications and promotional strategies, content distribution, feedback, event activities, and materials that support the array of services the units offer. The execution of this work will often include mutually supportive cross communications of the various service units available throughout the university that support other departments.
