Overview

Konica Minolta is seeking a motivated and experienced Marketing Technology Operations leader to join our team! In this exciting position, you will manage our data & analytics and marketing automation processes. These intelligent campaign flows will improve the customer experience throughout the buying journey, and the dashboards and reporting will be used to manage our activities and enable the insights that drive our ability to generate demand for our products and services!

You are a self-motivated, team-player, who balances strategic thinking with results-driven execution and is passionate about building and orchestrating integrated campaigns to drive customer and prospect engagement. You have experience building, operating and scaling marketing technology stacks, as well as leading, developing and mentoring your team. You excel in working collaboratively, and your natural curiosity and deep desire to leverage technology to solve operational problems drives you to identify and implement new ways to bring efficiency, while improving the customer experience.


Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and motivate a dynamic marketing operations team.
  • Enable campaign flow automation and create and provide data-driven reporting and analysis from multiple sources, including our marketing automation platform and CRM systems.
  • Work with businesses and marketing members to understand customer segmentation and build audiences for campaign and communication initiatives.
  • Manage the setup of our marketing automation platform; create automated campaign and information flows, identify and operationalize lead processes, including outbound email, lead grading, and scoring.
  • Have a strong voice in communicating the importance of the tools, resources and processes that are needed to drive change, generate efficiencies, and improve the customer experience.
  • Manage various external data sources, related vendors, and budget for use in audience generation and campaign automation.
  • Work with colleagues to generate a story with data based on gathering insights around variations, trends, and patterns in data that can identify whether an activity was successful and inform next steps.
  • Develop dashboards that enable self-serve information to improve decision-making for the greater marketing team and the organization.
  • Identify operational Martech stack needs and collaborate with IT on requirements, use cases, and ROI justification for new platforms and tools.
  • Perform testing and validation of new functions and system capabilities related to marketing activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing best practices and emerging trends.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience required. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in data management and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience successfully leading, motivating, and developing teams and driving change in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Deep experience configuring, managing, and executing marketing activities in marketing automation platforms, with direct experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and SAP.
  • Analytical mindset, able to extract meaning from data and use this to optimize the team's approach.
  • Innovative, curious, and proactive in finding ways to improve process, efficiency, and customer experience with technology.
  • Willing to take calculated risks and learn without fear of failure.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable and experienced presenting to senior management.
  • Experience managing budget and resource allocation to support success and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve business problems and operational issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities on complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills to coordinate multiple activities and to adapt to unexpected requests in a collaborative environment.'
