Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monitoring and analyzing inventory levels, identifying trends and making recommendations to optimize inventory management.
- Continuously monitoring component forecasts and initiating advanced planned orders to meet forecasted requirements to ensure parts are on-site 30 days prior to scheduled need.
- Work closely with maintenance & fleet engineering teams to ensure any aircraft movement, extensions, heavy maintenance activity is captured within our planning, and work strategically to incorporate different tasks in to one work scope where logical.
- Transferring inventory systematically between Bristow's bases and workshop locations as operational demands and aircraft locations change on assigned models and working with warehouse and logistic teams to execute the physical movements.
- Work closely with the purchasing teams in regard to forecasted requirements, ensuring we highlight any shortages as early as possible to the maintenance teams, and work on an alternative plan.
- Work closely with the repairs team in identifying TATs which don't meet our forecasted requirements and suggesting additional inventory purchases where logical.
- Provide reports to identify shortfalls in inventory and work with the purchasing teams to ensure the appropriate action is taken.
- Providing daily, weekly and monthly updated reports capturing the status of all upcoming forecasted items to Maintenance and Supply Management.
- Assist in the ERP system changes including the movement of material from system to system.
- Assist in the creation of reports - KPIs, Core Reports, PBH Reports (where applicable, dependent on ERP system)
- Any other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of material planning and inventory required.
- Advanced computer/software skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
- Experienced in data analysis pertaining to maintenance or inventory
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities required
- Must be able to work effectively both independently and as a team with a large and varied workload.
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to adapt and grow as per the changes within the organisation (ie implementing a new ERP System)
