Your responsibilities
Job Summary Responsibilities will involve interpretation of aerospace engine manufacture customer requirements (drawing/specifications), processing/communicating coordinating with internal and external quality representatives defined requirements. Professionally communicate with the customer, regulatory representatives, internal and external auditing representatives. Able to adapt quickly to IT systems (e.g. SAP, infor, Net Inspect). Create Quality Notifications, concession tickets, emergency release documents. Investigate quality issues perform internal system audits, ability to perform basic receiving inspection on customer product. Provide support to the ODA program as Unit Members and after-hours support. Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  • Perform product quality inspections in all departments, communicate effectively with corporate quality team and external customers, and effectively train, knowledge share other employees/associates.
  • Conduct through visual inspection/verification.
  • Review mill test reports for conformity and review conformance certificates release from other distributors.
  • Keep accurate quality reports.
  • Support quality improvements and quality investigations by collecting and supplying requested data for analysis of non-conforming material.
  • Segregate non-conforming material.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Effective teamwork and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organized approach to documenting results.
  • Proficiency in defining problems both verbally and in written form.
  • Experience in analyzing data and deriving valid conclusions.
  • Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, ISO and 6S Initiatives, compliance and Lean initiatives, requirements, and/or trainings.
  • Ability to access and work in SAP or other Warehouse Management System

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • This position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon obtaining any required export authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies.
  • When export authorization is necessary, the length of time to obtain the authorization by the government is outside of the Company's control.
  • High school graduate with 1 year experience as QC inspector in aeronautical or automotive industry.
  • Safety Mindset.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Technical college graduate with 1+ years of experience as QC inspector in aeronautical field
  • Experience with aluminum alloys.
  • Able to create basic quality procedures.
