Summary:

Operate cutting, folding, and binding equipment. Oversee outputs for quality and make any necessary adjustments to machinery. This position requires working a 2nd shift schedule.

Physical Demands:

The job requires the ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently.

Responsibilities:

  • Use standard processes and preventative measures to work safely.
  • Follow job instructions, setup and adjust machines to operate efficiently.
  • Operate Polar Cutters, to cut paper stock to required stock size.
  • Operate high speed roll fed MBO Folders and Horizon Folders, to fold sheets into signatures, booklets, pamphlets, or letters.
  • Operate Horizon Book Binders, to bind book blocks and covers into books.
  • Work independently and in a team setting, with minimal direction.
  • This position includes some overtime requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • 1+ years' experience in operating cutting, folding and binding equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Good communication skills, verbal and in writing.
  • Self-managed and motivated; organized and detail oriented.
