The salary range for this position is $260,000 - $430,000 based on Rank and Step. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf), which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Faculty positions in all areas become available periodically. Appointment in the Health Sciences Clinical Educator Academic Professorial Series requires clinical and didactic skills, possession or eligibility for a California Medical License and American Board of Anesthesiology certification, or in process. Interest or experience in clinical research is desirable. Appointment as an Associate Professor or Full Professor requires demonstration of continuous and effective engagement in creative activities of high quality and significance.
