This category is committed to evolving our portfolio with new research-based products while maintaining relevance of existing products through continued investment. Your focus will be on our conferencing segment which includes Coalesse and Viccarbe brand products. What You Will Be Doing: Develop and implement tactics which continue the launch of new products and maintain focus on legacy products. Provide marketing leadership on product development teams: defining product criteria, pricing, forecasting, communications and launch planning, sales and marketing strategy. Work cross-functionally with finance, industrial design, engineering, procurement, quality, operations and database. Create a strategic vision for the segment, identifying opportunities for new products and new marketing initiatives. Take ownership of and manage assigned product lines to achieve growth or profitability targets. Support sales teams by providing coaching for strategic sales opportunities, creating sales presentations, trainings materials and product positioning materials. Analyze market trends, market research, user and client needs to develop insights. Assess competitors, competitive positioning, and market pricing to inform decision making. Work collaboratively with other categories to define product positioning and product differentiation. Who You Are: You have a strong desire to make an impact through your contributions to the team, the category and specifically with the products and segment you manage. You have a natural curiosity, with a desire to learn from your team, from other groups within Steelcase and externally from dealers, A&D, and customers. You are able to balance feedback, data and intuition to develop a POV and inform your decision making. Using critical-thinking you validate your hypothesis' while challenging assumptions. You develop and nurture strong relationships. You are willing to take on challenges, take the time to understand varying viewpoints, and collaborate with others to overcome roadblocks. A strong business acumen with experience in market analysis of sales and financial data will be a benefit in supporting your decisions. You are capable of managing multiple, competing demands effectively using appropriate prioritization & organizational skills. Required Skills and Competencies: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, related field or comparable working experience Prior experience in product management Preferred Skills and Competencies: Graduate degree (MBA) preferred or equivalent working experience 5+ years of marketing, product management or related experience is preferred Who We Are: Steelcase is a global design and thought leader in the world of work.
