Get to Know Your Team:

  • Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's tertiary care and Level II Trauma Center, housing the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue.

Responsibilities

  • Provides clerical/secretarial support to the director and department leadership team

  • Demonstrates skills in organizing department activities such as: staff meetings, interviews, and responsible management of all departmental/hospital resources

  • Collaborates with the Director and department leadership team in coordinating continuous Quality improvement and assurance efforts.

  • Completes all documentation within departmental requirements and timelines
  • Assumes responsibility for ongoing personal development, clinical competencies, and professional development of self and others.

  • Efficient and assist in educating staff on proper timecard management and utilization of the time clock.

  • Ability to work varied shifts and/or days including weekends and holidays

  • Additional duties as assigned by Department Director/RN Supervisor


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Completion of Idaho Certified Nursing Assistant preferred

  • Current BLS certification preferred
