SUMMARY:

As a Manufacturing Program Manager, you will oversee and coordinate multiple manufacturing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, supply chain, and production, to drive continuous improvement and optimize manufacturing processes. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our products meet quality standards and customer requirements while maintaining efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role will include proforma Profit &Loss responsibility as a new PL with significant contribution to overall BU expansion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  1. Program Management:

    • Lead and manage multiple manufacturing programs from concept to production, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and timeline objectives.
    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management.


  2. Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with engineering, quality, supply chain, and production teams to ensure seamless program execution.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration among all stakeholders to resolve issues and make informed decisions.


  3. Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions in manufacturing operations.





  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.



  1. Risk Management:

    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on program objectives.
    • Monitor and report on program progress, identifying and addressing any deviations from the plan.


  2. Resource Management:

    • Allocate resources effectively to meet program needs and ensure optimal utilization.
    • Coordinate with HR and other departments to ensure the availability of skilled personnel and necessary training.


  3. Budget Management:

    • Develop and manage program budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial targets.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to achieve cost efficiencies.


  4. Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure that all manufacturing programs adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to implement quality control processes and resolve any issues.


  5. Reporting and Documentation:

    • Prepare and present regular reports on program status, progress, and performance metrics to senior management.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all program activities, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes.




REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • PMP Certification a plus
  • Example, proficiency in Microsoft office, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Project Management software and tools; Experience in Lean Manufacturing a plus;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and manage timelines
  • Minimum of six years of manufacturing and operations experience in addition to managing multiple projects and timelines
