The Advanced Academic Programs (AAP), in the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences (KSAS) at Johns Hopkins University, seeks a Sr. Program Manager who will report to the Associate Dean for Graduate & Professional Programs and will lead, coordinate, and manage multiple strategic initiatives as defined by the Dean and as part of AAP. This position will be a member of the Associate Dean's Senior Leadership Team and will collaborate with all members to develop new KSAS revenue streams and manage projects. Some initiatives include expanding international and domestic activities and programs, leading faculty in developing new initiatives, and a significant amount of proposal writing.
The position requires excellent writing, research, data analytics, and copyediting skills. Experience developing reports in various systems that support higher education initiatives and using public data services such as IPEDS, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, EMSI, etc., and private services such as EAB and UPCEA.
The position is based either at the JHU campus in Washington, D.C., or Baltimore, with frequent travel to either location. Travel to conferences and to meet with potential clients will be required.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Business Development (50%)
- Identify, develop, and manage new credit and non-credit opportunities for AAP in the domestic and international markets.
- Establish and nurture relationships with businesses, government agencies, and non-profits domestically and internationally that increase business-to-business (B2B) opportunities.
- Coordinate with KSAS Research Administration and JHU's Research Administration team (JHURA) to negotiate B2B agreements and MOUs.
- Collaborate with faculty for new ideas and to meet revenue goals.
- Identify, hire, and manage AAP Portfolio Managers to deliver new programs in their content areas and manage vendors that assist in the professional micro credential market in their efforts in the B2B and business-to-customer (B2C).
- Attending conferences and events and building a network of clients.
Program/Project Management (30%)
- Lead faculty in the ideation and implementation stages for new proposals and programs.
- Collaborate with Sr. Leadership team members in the ideation and new program launch stages.
- Align and manage new educational projects and special projects as identified by the Associate Dean and the faculty.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff on the implementation of new programming to meet revenue goals.
- Project manage the ideation and implementation stages for new proposals and programs.
Market Analysis (20%)
- Work with research vendors to develop a research plan to identify new program opportunities.
- Creating research-based feasibility studies for decision-making purposes from a variety of data sources.
- Select and analyze data from various public and private entities to inform decision-making.
- Write research-based proposals and manage resources and vendors that support the work of this position.
- Initiate and develop research-based feasibility studies from a variety of data sources including public and private entities to inform decision-making.

Technical qualifications or specialized certifications
- Expert in Microsoft Office Suite, especially M.S. Excel.
- Fluent in Tableau and Qualtrics and/or other data reporting systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in related field.
- Five years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate, Juris Doctor, or MBA Degree.
- Work experience demonstrating increasing responsibility"experience in higher education, financial and data analysis, and new program initiatives both internationally and domestically.

Starting Salary Range: $99,800 - $137,400 - $175,000 Annually (Commensurate with experience)
