As part of the Global Field Marketing Team, the Market Research Analyst (covering MI & CI) provides insights into the market, customers and competitors in the Americas region. The role is one that works closely with Field Marketing and Sales stakeholders in the Americas and in collaboration with peers in the Market Insights & Competitive Intelligence Team. The role is required to provide insights and share actionable recommendations that inform strategic decision-making and support planning activities.

How You Will Make an Impact:



  • Plan and conduct primary and secondary market research, VOS and VOC projects needed by the Americas Field Marketing & Sales Teams to profile specific market, customer or competitor environments. This includes: - Profiling Life Sciences and Clinical Diagnostic markets and competitive environment - Provide market and competitive insights through presentations and reports to Marketing and Sales leaders and various other internal stakeholders.
  • Perform thorough, systematic analysis of key industry trends, the general economic and funding environment, current and potential competitors. Create and updating comprehensive industry, competitor and customer reports including, but not limited to, market share, growth projections, trends and market forces.
  • Supply market insights and competitive intelligence for the annual strategic planning process in collaboration with the Americas Field Marketing Team, as well as ad-hoc strategic projects.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of data sources, evaluating credibility and utility.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal customers to understand demerging needs and business challenges.
  • Maintain relationships with external vendors.


What you Bring:



  • Education: Master's degree or equivalent in related field, MBA preferred.
  • Work Experience: 5+ years experience in market insight and competitive intelligence roles in the Life Sciences and/or Diagnostics industries.
  • Solid public speaking skills.
  • Moderate level of field experiences including some higher-level customer facing activities.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $102,200 to $140,500 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
