Performs a variety of quality control tests/inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc., at various stages of the production process or after customer return to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.

  • Completes performance testing such as multipass, fatigue, pressure drop, etc.
  • Performs media management which includes continuous media improvement, product traceability, media grading and process improvement.
  • Records statistical data. Analyzes data and writes summaries to validate or show deviations from existing standards.
  • Performs resolution activities for non-conforming parts which include inspecting incoming parts, writing reports that indicate defects found, conducting meetings and monitoring hold activity, logs, etc.
  • Investigates customer complaints and returns.
  • Provides product failure analysis support.
  • Works with customer service department and the customer to resolve concerns.
  • Coordinates internal auditing process consisting of scheduling audits, assigning auditors and following up on audit activity.
  • Calibrates gauges and test equipment as required by calibration schedules.
  • Develops and participates in problem prevention planning to communicate, evaluate and prevent/resolve quality problems.
  • Recommends modifications to existing, or suggests new standards, methods and procedures.
  • Assists in establishing technical objectives, corrective action planning and problem resolution.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent technical experience and 2 years relevant technical

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years Aerospace Industry Experience
  • LEAN manufacturing knowledge and training
  • Strong computer skills-Microsoft Office
  • Able to communicate effectively
