Position Summary: The B2B Marketing Manager candidate is an exceptional, results-driven marketing leader with expertise in business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-business-to-consumer (B2B2C) marketing. This candidate has a deep understanding of omni-channel efforts, including owned, paid, and earned media. This role will execute the short-term plans along with defining the long-term strategies for our B2B and B2B2C customer segments. The B2B Marketing Manager will partner with the Marketing, Sales, IT, Customer Success, Stores, and Ecommerce Teams in the U.S. and Canada to develop a coordinated, customer-centric marketing approach based on data and insights. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Oversee the B2B corporate and unit-level customer marketing planning, execution, testing, and measurement for all marketing initiatives to deliver growth and positive business impact.
- Develop and execute effective communications and messaging strategy across channels and customer journeys for our B2B corporate, unit-level, and end-user audiences. Communicate and align on the communications plan with our Sales Leadership Team.
- Leverage and integrate various digital and traditional touchpoints, including email, SMS, direct mail, paid media, social, and website, to drive sales and engagement.
- Activate and drive awareness of our safety footwear program at the unit level across the US and Canada.
- Based on segmentation and an account-based marketing (ABM) approach, optimize the right channel mix and frequency with the goal of activation, engagement, retention, monetization, and growth.
- Work with the Sales Team in developing relevant content and sales enablement tools for key segments along the customer journey.
- Manage the B2B marketing calendar and marketing workflows for omnichannel campaigns, ensuring the latest activities are flawlessly executed and shared with relevant stakeholders.
- Leverage data and analytics to measure results, gain insights into campaign performance, and optimize channel performance.
- Produce, share, and present plans, results, and insights to senior leadership, Sales, and across the organization.
- Manage agency partners and directly interface with B2B customers, as needed.
- Working with the Marketing Team, be a key Marketing liaison with the Sales Team and drive key strategic marketing requests forward.
- Develop a team of B2B marketers and ensure their continued development and growth within the organization.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's Degree required in marketing, business, or general management. MBA a plus.
- 5+ years B2B and end-user marketing strong digital and traditional marketing experience with proven expertise and effectiveness across audiences and channels (Email, SMS, website, social, paid media, direct mail, etc.).
- Experience building compelling campaigns and content that support the brand and resonate with relevant audiences.
- Unit-level and franchise marketing experience a plus. ABM experience preferred.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills.
- Comfortable working with Sales Teams and external customers.
- Analytical. Critical thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
- Team management experience.
- Microsoft Office experience, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Salesforce, CRM tools and Google Analytics preferred.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management experience; have solid organization and prioritization skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to adapt quickly in a growing, dynamic company.
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related degree; MBA a plus
- 5+ Years of experience in marketing or a related field
