Dartmouth College: School of Arts & Sciences: Sciences: Psychological and Brain Sciences Location Hanover, NH Open Date Nov 27, 2023 Description The Dartmouth Presidential Cluster on Breaking the Neural Code invites applications for a staff Research Scientist. The Cluster is dedicated to the computational and neurophysiological underpinnings of human behavior and health. Our goal is to combine analyses of large-scale datasets with novel scientific studies of brain imaging, electrophysiology, and neuromodulation to deliver next-generation models and tools for human neuroscience. We seek a motivated, high-performing scientist with strong interests in analytics and human neuroscience to join our team. Competitive candidates will possess strong data science and computational skills and a desire and ability to work as part of collaborative, multidisciplinary research teams. The successful candidate will: (a) lead projects modeling relationships among multimodal brain data and affective/motivational, cognitive, genetic/genomic, and clinical characteristics in large-scale datasets (e.g., the UK Biobank, ABCD, HCP, ROS-MAP, and A2CPS projects); (b) integrate models and findings from these studies with new studies linking neuroimaging, neuromodulation, and social and emotional function; (c) lead publications on these topics; and (d) transition to leading a collaborative and/or independent research program on related topics.
