In this role you will be an integral part of a dynamic business group, leading the way in cutting-edge Genomics technologies. Managing a large portfolio of genomics platforms will require that you regularly engage within the business unit, as well as with partners and leaders across the organization, including sales, support and R&D. This is truly a cross-functional role and daily you will be placing the customer at the center of your interactions while also ensuring that the business's strategic interests are met.

How You'll Make An Impact:



  • Manage a portfolio of on market products and ensure their commercial success.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of outbound marketing strategies, highlighting the products at tradeshows and conferences, and executing efforts to deliver on the group's sales and revenue goals.
  • Develop collateral for products in the portfolio, as well as content for web, media, etc., to support global sales and support teams.
  • Collaborate with global commercial teams on voice of customer, competitive intelligence and market trends to build robust marketing plans to ensure a strategy that drives market growth.
  • Monitor any quality issues which may arise, collaborating with the Quality Assurance team, regional sales and R&D as appropriate to uncover root cause and formulate a path to resolution.
  • Keep current on developments in the genomics market. Analyze and report on the competitive landscape, including new product and technology introductions, application trends and workflow opportunities.


What You Bring:



  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a Life Sciences discipline; MS or MBA highly desired.
  • Work Experience: 4+ years of demonstrated experience in product management, marketing or sales with a focus on new product development and commercialization of PCR instrumentation for the research market segment. Direct experience with PCR and RT-PCR is highly preferred.
  • Ability to present both high level and detailed information for multiple audiences, including scientists, executives and sales.
  • Strong written and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and able to work effectively in a team and matrixed environment.
  • This full-time role requires ~25% travel, both domestic and international.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $130,200 to $179,100 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
