Job Summary

You should be dancing...here at the North Kirkland Community Center! You will feel right at home in our dance room with suspended hardwood floors and wall of mirrors. Plan and teach preschool Ballet, Tap, and Mini Hip-Hop. Must possess creativity and provide a safe stimulating class environment with age appropriate activities. Looking for an instructor with good communication skills and a love for teaching dance.
Hours or Work: Starting Tuesday, September 10th 9:15am - 12:15pm.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Good verbal, written, and telephone communication skills are required.
- Ability to interact courteously with the public.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated good judgement in problem solving and responding to customer needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have or be able to obtain First Aid/CPR certificate by start date.
- Must successfully complete a thorough background check as required by the Child Abuse Information Act.
- Experience working with Preschool age children preferred.

Physical Demands and Working Environment: Work is performed in a community center setting with high levels of noise. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs. Must be able to walk, climb, bend, and stoop to complete tasks.
