Overview Manager, Valuation Cornerstone Research, a leading economics consulting firm, is recruiting experienced valuation professionals at the Manager level for the firm's M&A, valuation, and bankruptcy practice. Cornerstone Research supports both internal and external (e.g., leading academics) valuation experts who provide valuation-related testimony in commercial litigation such as deal price disputes both in the U.S. and in foreign proceedings. The role involves initial analysis design and leading teams of analysts and associates in conducting valuation analyses as well as interacting with senior team leaders and experts and attorney clients. It requires the ability to provide deep critical assessments of valuation issues on projects including methodology, data identification and collection, and industry analysis. Managers will work on a variety of valuation engagements in the context of litigation and across a range of industries. Recent illustrative examples of valuation assignments include:
Assessing the fairness of deal price in M&A-related litigation in a variety of industries such as cryptocurrencies, financial institutions, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, energy and infrastructure, oil and gas, real estate and construction, and others

Cornerstone Research offers a market-leading compensation and benefits package. The base salary for the Manager role ranges from $265,000 to $302,500. In addition to the base salary, Managers will be eligible for a signing bonus depending on skills, education, and experience. Managers are eligible for discretionary bonuses based on performance, firm contributions, and other factors.
