  • Estimated hourly rate pay: $37.26 (minimum) - $46.59 (midpoint) - $55.91 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Operations Specialist, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The position supports production from a technical standpoint and has an excellent understanding of the product being produced in the area. It is the first line of defense and/or consultant to Operations Specialists regarding production related issues. The position is consulted by engineering regarding new product and process implementation. It solves difficult manufacturing problems and works with members to implement process and product improvements. What You Will Be Doing
  • Independently develops new cells, improves flow, increases velocity, and reduces waste. Leads regularly scheduled 5S events.
  • Collaborates with engineers. Resolves production issues and performs Root Cause Analysis.
  • Recommends and implements process improvements for new product introductions and/or existing manufacturing processes. Works with engineering, when needed, to develop new processes.
What We Are Looking For
  • U.S. - Associates Degree - 2 year technical degree or international equivalentpreferred.
  • U.S. - High School Diploma required.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Operations Specialists or similar external role required.
  • Certificate or degree in a Six Sigma or special process preferred.
  • Certificate of Apprenticeship in a technical field in Germany and Poland required.
  • State certified technician required, or Six Sigma Black Belt based on area of assignment in Germany required.
  • Automation Specific Functions:
    • 1. Strong understanding of applicable automated or semi-automated manufacturing processes and equipment and
    • 2. Proven ability to access programming controls to create and modify logic code statements to solve problems, increase efficiency, or reduce scrap
  • Machining Specific Functions:
    • 1. Strong development of manufacturing processes and/or strong design and implementation of Computer Numeric Controls (CNC) programming and
    • 2. Strong interpretation of specifications and participation in hardware disposition
