Associate Asset Manager
Overview The Hotel Associate Asset Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the asset management team by providing comprehensive financial and operational analysis for a portfolio of hotels. This position involves monitoring the performance of hotels, conducting market industry research, and preparing detailed reports to assist in strategic decision-making. The position will support the Hotel Asset Management team in meeting the team's objectives of enhancing asset value by monitoring hotel operator results and collaborating with them to increase revenues, control costs and maximize flow through to EBITDA while properly maintaining asset quality and guest perceptions. The Hotel Associate Asset Manager will work alongside the Hotel Asset Management team and assist in reviewing financial metrics and reports including portfolio and hotel profit and loss statements, STR data, sales and revenue management data, and hotel forecasts. RMR principally invests in hotels through Service Properties Trust (NASDAQ: SVC) a real estate investment trust that owns 220 hotels located throughout the United States, Ontario, Canada, and Puerto Rico and net leased retail properties; and Sonesta International Hotels and Resorts. SVC's portfolio consists of hotels managed by Sonesta International Hotels and Resorts, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Hyatt, and Radisson Hotel Group across full-service, select-service, and extended-stay brands. Review and analyze operating data including monthly financials, forecasts, and budgets to help Managers achieve optimum hotel performance.
