The University of California, Riverside, Palm Desert Low-Residency MFA offers a path towards publication, production, and fulfilling life in the arts achieved through a multidisciplinary approach. The following role will offer administrative and procurement support for the MFA program along with intermittent projects within the Performing Arts Administrative Unit. This hybrid position will be based out of our UC Riverside Main campus. However, the role will be responsible for general administrative functions including providing in-person support during the two residency events in Palm Desert twice a year. In addition to providing administrative support during the Low-Residency's in-person events, the role will support the purchasing/procurement needs, processing honoraria request, and supplier/vendor registration for the MFA Palm Desert Low-Residency program. This role will serve as the Low Residency program's primary transactor. The role will also serve as a floating support for the Performing Arts Administrative Unit with transacting and supplier registration support.
The full salary range for the Administrative Assistant is $24.59 - $34.85 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $29.85 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. PLEASE NOTE: This is a temporary position, budgeted for 2 years, with the possibility of extension. |
