What You Will Do:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs for warehouse automation equipment and wire cutting machines.

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot control circuits, photoelectric sensors, motor starters, relays, switches, sensors, and timers.

  • Perform preventative maintenance and first line repairs for Powered Industrial Trucks, and other material handling equipment.

  • Maintain and repair overhead dock doors and equipment

  • Conduct first line facility maintenance

  • Oversee and facilitate CDC vendor maintenance contracts

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with equipment users and leaders.

  • Other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring:

  • Proactive communication skills

  • High level of organization

  • Great follow through on tasks

  • Team oriented approach to tasks with excellent customer service skills

  • Previous automation maintenance experience, trainable on Dematic MicroShuttle

  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Outlook, and Word

  • Comfortable writing/responding to emails

  • Ability to read and interpret operating, maintenance and safety documents

  • Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT)

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50+ lbs.)

  • Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists

  • Able to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation

  • Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, inside/outside noise, vibration, etc.

  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head

Salary & Compensation:

  • This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime
  • Pay is $32.36/hour - $41.25/hour, DOE.
