The Clinical Therapist II treats patients by utilizing a variety of modalities as a member of the multidisciplinary clinical treatment team. Also provides psychological/social interventions that support patients and families relating to behavioral health, levels of care, hospitalization, disease and illness and wellness and recovery. Responsibilities A day in the life of a Clinical Therapist II at Hackensack Meridian Health inludes: 1. Provides a comprehensive assessment of a patient's psychosocial needs, develops treatment plans and treatment plan reviews based on findings and according to department policy. In addition to the responsibilities listed in this job description, it is understood that each department/program may have specific requirements and/or regulations based on the level of care and treatments/services provided and/or the patient population receiving those treatments/services. These specific responsibilities will be reviewed with applicants/team members during the interview process and again at time of hire. Qualifications Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1. Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or Master's degree in Counseling, or a related field. 1. Ability to provide guidance/mentorship to other team members. Licenses and Certifications Required: 1. Professional Counselor License or NJ Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Marriage and Family Therapy,Professional Counselor.
