The Bloomberg School of Public Health, Department of Population, Family, and Reproductive Health is seeking a Research Data Analyst. Our Team For over twenty-five years, our team has conducted high quality, utilization focused evaluation, research, and quality improvement work across the United States focused on various prenatal, early childhood and child welfare interventions. Our Collaborators For more than ten years, our team has collaborated with leaders in New Jersey's Department of Health and Department of Children and Families on research, evaluation and continuous quality improvement. By collaborating across state departments and creatively leveraging federal and state funding, New Jersey has created a unique, progressive early childhood system of care. NJ's system features a statewide central intake system (Connecting NJ) for at-risk pregnant and parenting people which links eligible families interested in services to a variety of resources in their communities. With sophisticated data systems and a well-developed infrastructure for collaborating with parents and families, New Jersey is a national leader in the early childhood space. New Jersey recently began implementing Family Connects NJ, a brief, universal newborn home visiting program in which parents can receive home visits by a trained nurse in the first several weeks following the child's birth. Participation in Family Connects NJ is free, voluntary, and available to all new parents regardless of background or income. The program is currently operating in five counties and plans to expand to additional counties over the coming years. Our Research Data Analyst Position The Research Data Analyst will be responsible for data management, manipulation and analysis, as well as quality control of project databases and documentation of data analysis activities. The Research Data Analyst will primarily analyze Family Connects NJ program data and may contribute to cleaning and analyzing data from New Jersey's early childhood home visiting programs and the state's central intake system (Connecting NJ). We are looking for an analytically gifted individual who will support our team in carrying out research, evaluation and quality improvement work to support the implementation of Family Connects NJ. The ideal candidate for the position is a self-motivated, responsible, detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational abilities.
