Job Duties and Responsibilities Please note, this is a 2nd shift position with a 2pm start time. The primary responsibility of this position is to perform the required testing following specific processes, and completing them on time in a fast pace environment. Other duties include but are not limited to the following: Primary Job Responsibilities: * Set up and operate dynamometers, and bench tests for driveline components and assemblies. * Work with requesting engineers and test engineers to insure correct fixturing, set-up, operation, and acquisition of data for test requests. * Assemble and disassemble axles. * Record and collect test data from pre and post component/assembly inspection. * Perform routine as well as preventive maintenance on equipment as necessary. * Visually inspect parts to standards, repair units and products that fail to meet requirements. * As necessary, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical encountered during assembly. * Support total quality management objectives in a team environment. * Actively participate in DOS (Dana Operating System) productivity improvement activities and 5S activities * Adhere to all Operating procedures and Work instruction related to this position. * Perform and assist with calibration of equipment Qualifications Required: * 2+ years of Programming experience (LabView, PLC Programming, CAN, Ethernet, RS232, ) - preferred * Maintenance and Calibration Experience -preferred * 2 years of experience with Dynamometers, with a solid understanding of control loop tuning, power analyzers, efficiency measurements. Edrive Dynamometers - preferred * Electromechanical systems, with a solid understanding of electric motors, sensor fundamentals, and Harness building * Experience with High Voltage and electrical principles (arc flash, PPE) * Excellent mechanical amplitude. * Must be self-motivated and capable of performing duties with limited supervision. * Good computer skills with Microsoft Office. * Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays and off-shifts as requested * Demonstrated strong problem solving skills. * Must be reliable and maintain a good attendance record * Must have a valid driver's license. * Able to lift up to 35 lbs. repetitively and stand for approximately 90% of the time.
