Position Summary:
The CRM Developer will be responsible for
enhancing and maintaining our existing customer relationship management (CRM)
applications/tools as well as implementing new systems/tools to meet the needs
of our organization. This role requires expertise in CRM platforms, strong
technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with
cross-functional teams. This position will require hybrid work - onsite and
remote.
Essential Functions:
- Design, configure, develop, and provide ongoing support of CRM applications including Slate, Raiser's edge, EAB Navigate, Salesforce.
- Develop integrations between multiple systems.
- Install, configure, develop, maintain and support software applications that include third-party vendor solutions, cloud-hosted applications, and in-house developed applications.
- Identify and document requirements, and prepare detailed software specifications working with stakeholders across campus.
- Troubleshoot, and diagnose problems, evaluating results and resolving issues.
- Maintain and document software applications, job control procedures, process workflows, user interfaces, and features of the university's enterprise application systems.
- Respond to incidents, service outages, and service requests in a timely manner and collaborate with team members within the Information Services & Technology division, campus partners, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Support enterprise applications in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Adhere to application security standards and implement application security controls for enterprise applications.
- Interact with vendors during evaluation, implementation, and operation/maintenance of vendor solutions.
- Participate in prototyping and testing of new applications and solutions.
- Work collaboratively with IST team members and internal/external stakeholders.
- Report status of tasks and activities, and proactively identify and resolve issues/risks, and escalate if necessary.
- Contribute to the execution of IST strategic plan.

Prerequisite Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as computer science.
- 2 years of experience with Salesforce, preferably EDA or Education Cloud.
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience with integrations.
- Proficiency with at least one programming language.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills.
- Familiarity and understanding of higher education processes
- At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other CRMs such as Slate is preferred.
