Apogee is recruiting an Oracle DBA to support the Army's Analytic Group (AAG). This is a full-time opportunity located in Fairfield, CA, with hybrid flexibility.

What you will be doing:



  • Support Oracle Database software installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades
  • Provide Oracle Database creation and operational resource management
  • Provide Oracle Database backup and recovery
  • Ensure security management and STIG compliance
  • Support user account and privilege management
  • Support application release installation
  • Provide database performance management
  • Provide storage management
  • Assist with troubleshooting
  • 24/7 database operations monitoring, proactive and reactive corrective actions (rotation)
  • Support Low-to-High data transfer
  • Support Oracle Database refresh to development and test
  • Miscellaneous tasks and action requests


What you will need to have:

Minimum Experience
Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen
Clearance: Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance and maintain it.
Certifications:

  • Certified Oracle Database Administrator (OCA/OCP)
  • Security+ CE certificate (IAT II certification)









    Education: High School Diploma
    Year's experience: Five (5) years of directly related experience as an Oracle DBA

          • Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) for Oracle Database
          • Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud computing
          • Microsoft Azure cloud computing
          • Microsoft Azure DevOps





      Preferred Experience
      Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance
      Education: Bachelor's degree
      Years of Experience: 10 years experience as an Oracle DBA

      Benefits & Compensation:



      • Apogee offers two medical plans, a high deductible health plan with an HRA and a traditional POS plan with co-pays, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, parental, military, and jury duty paid leaves. Regular part-time employees scheduled for twenty-four or more hours per work week are eligible for benefits on a pro-rated basis.
      • The base pay for this position is $120,000 to $165,000 across the U.S. There is also a different range applicable for specific work locations. Base pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, training, and education.
