Description

Position Summary: The Dispatch Assistant provides expertise in customer service activities in a way that assures the customers' expectations are consistently and satisfactorily achieved. This position is responsible for analyzing customer requirements and assigning/scheduling as needed. Able to organize human resources and equipment in order to meet the needs of our customers.

Construction office environment.

Hourly wage determined by experience and skill level. Full benefits package offered after 60 days of employment.



Position Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Primary customer contact at the day to day level during a rental engagement.
  • Manage the daily dispatch of all equipment and activities of the drivers for the branch.
  • Assign equipment and/or operators ensuring the most economical and quickest methods are utilized.
  • Create work tickets in TCR and assigned to the appropriate driver.
  • Audit and approve completed tickets in TCR to insure driver has completed the ticket.
  • Maintain good communications with customers.
  • Strive to continuously improve the level of company profitability, understand impact of rental transactions, labor efficiency and their effect on profitability.



ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Insures that all Company Policies and Procedures are followed precisely for the management of the rental equipment fleet.
  • Additional responsibilities as directed by Branch Manager
  • Insures the accuracy of the branch's rental/sales paperwork through research, resolution, and reconciliation of any discrepancies in systems used for parts, merchandise, and fleet inventory.
  • Insure timeliness of all rental fleet activities and reporting.
  • May assist in the coordination of rental fleet Cycle Counts and Physical Inventories.
  • Coordinate equipment transfers between divisions as needed to meet customer demand.



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:




  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates degree is preferred.
  • Great organization skills
  • Strong knowledge in all Microsoft products
  • Great communication skills
  • Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
