Responsibilities Responsible for the set-up, support and production of high-quality products and to help create a highly productive work environment. Supporting responsibilities include planning, checking, establishing a sequence of work to fabricate, assemble and inspect hardware to planning, engineering and quality control requirements; on where applicable. Duties - The Company will provide appropriate job training to enable employees to perform all necessary job functions including developing new and improved methods of production. Perform multi-tasking and multi-machine operation. Use any equipment (e.g. hand, power tools, air tools, scanners and computers) needed to prioritize, complete and process work assignments. Perform any pickup, touchup, rework, part mark and incorporation of changes to the product as required. Work from prints, sketches, specifications and written/verbal information. Maintain certifications, qualifications, licenses or permits as required to perform work. Utilizes precision measuring equipment (calipers, scales, etc.) to perform self-inspection of in-process and finished work. Ensure that all FDAQ (Factory DataAcQuisition) is completed according to work instructions. Perform routine minor machine maintenance as part of their daily work duties (e.g., replacing machine filters, lubrication/coolant levels, etc. as related to basic Total Preventative Maintenance duties). Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, technique sheets, work orders, and other documentation required to complete operation per engineering. Routinely move product within the shop-defined area, including across aisle, using shop assigned equipment as required, and complete transactions necessary to move product to the next operation. Performs verification of dimensions of parts using both mechanical and electronic precision measurement tools. Perform inspection MVP, including first part review, of fabricated parts and assemblies. Initiate and document any non-conforming condition. Maintain required certifications and qualifications as needed. (e.g. SLS, BAC, Nadcap, AS9100, crane, sealer, liquid nitrogen, vehicle ops). Ensure compliance with applicable processes (e.g., FOD, Hazmat, OSHA, QMS). Support the continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process by training and assisting employees of the same or lower classification level. Level C- Perform process activities including, e.g., protective coatings, metal polishing of aircraft details, wire assembling/fabrication, engraving, decal/metalcals, metal processing, and isoscope, etc. to support the production requirements. Perform hand finishing operations typical of the following: blending of multiple adjacent MDD surfaces into engineering tolerances and/or perform transition work to bring detail parts in accordance with engineering tolerances.
