SUMMARY OF POSITION
Assist the pharmacist in the preparation and distribution of medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient and pharmacy records in a manner consistent with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as pharmacy policies and procedures. Pharmacy technician activities are performed under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Maintains professional standards and certification in pharmaceutical practice. Pursues opportunities for personal and professional growth, including skills development (clinical, mentorship/leadership, verbal/written communication, time management, problem- solving, and prioritization) with company support. Accepts and uses supervision, direction and consultation to maximize available resources in the completion of work duties and to develop high-performing clinical support teams. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed to maintain and improve effective functioning of the department and to advance the mission of the organization.
