MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Two (2) to five (5) years of Program Administrative support experience, and technical requirements gathering experience
  • Demonstrable expertise in Microsoft O365 Suite
  • This position requires a minimum of a Secret security clearance to start, and will require a Top Secret to be obtained after on-boarding


DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Experience using O365 Suite
  • Experience using Microsoft Project and/or Project Online
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio
  • Experience using CMPro, Jira and Sharepoint is beneficial
  • Experience creating documentation under a government contract
  • Experience managing contract document ad schedule deliverables under a government contract
  • Knowledge of systems engineering activities and process improvement approaches strongly desired
  • Be comfortable with the creation of in-depth, accurate technical documentation

SRC is continuing and expanding our support of the Navy's Network Security Integrated Product Team (NS IPT) Computer Network Defense (CND) program on a five year delivery order. The SRC team provides cutting-edge engineering, analysis, integration and life cycle sustainment support for the NS IPT/CND systems. The purpose of the Navy's NW IPT/CND program is to augment CND capabilities and integrate them into the unique environments encountered by Navy forces. Navy CND is an integral part of the cyber defense posture, protecting the Navy's component of the Global Information Grid (GIG) from exploitation and strongly linking to critical infrastructure protection. Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) - Atlantic requires resources to support the Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) and Integration activities for the Information Technology for the 21st Century (IT-21), and OCONUS Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-Net) networks, to enhance network and cyber security.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Creates and maintains documentation for a group of system engineers supporting preparation work and actual execution of assessments and inspections ongoing for systems ashore and afloat
  • Helps the engineers, and ultimately each site understands the current security posture of each site, where they are today, and where they need to be in the future
  • Helps the engineers supporting inspection efforts, to ensure proper documentation is prepared and compiled, including; compiling Daily Status Reports (DSRs), After Action Reports (AARs), updating process documentation and checklists
  • Assists in ensuring the activities completed are accurately documented, along with any outputs from the events are tracked properly and distributed within the team
  • Works independently to create system level documentation, procedures, process documentation, gathering requirements, and applicable checklists, used to support all assessment preparation and inspection execution
  • Works independently to perform task tracking, maintaining schedules, and creating system level documentation, procedures, and plans using Microsoft Office Suite of tools, including; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Interviews systems administrators and systems engineers to gather the necessary information for creating system level documentation
  • Creates management plans and SOPs for Configuration, Security, Program, and Operations using Word, Visio, Project, and Excel
  • Creates slide presentations to support briefings using PowerPoint
  • Manages peer reviews of documentation and arbitrate review comments
  • Prepares and coordinates program plans, project schedules, and specialized reports
  • Prepares plans and reports that document program activity, primarily tracked in recurring project deliverables
  • Provides information for the plan development including schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for major portions of a program
  • Serves as a liaison between the company and customers for program information. Anticipates and responds to customer needs and maintains an understanding of customer requirements
  • These efforts will be conducted primarily in our Charleston, SC location, and will also support travel requirements in preparation and execution of site assessments
  • This position will require up to 30% travel to various CONUS and OCONUS sites, primarily Ashore and Afloat as required
