Description

Under the direction of the Director or designee, the Hospital Assistant II provides support services to the physicians and nurses in the Surgery Center. The primary responsibilities are centered on transporting patients, equipment, and supplies and maintaining a clean, neat work environment, well-stocked with needed supplies. Other duties include, but are not limited to: customer service and departmental efficiencies.

Hourly Rate: $26.43

Qualifications


  • We're seeking a highly-skilled,
    self-motivated professional with:



      • Ability
        to perform all physical requirements pertaining to the maintenance of a
        clean
        environment.
      • Ability
        to transport patients and maintain patient care
        supplies.
      • Ability
        to lift and carry equipment and materials.
      • Ability
        to speak clearly and distinctly using appropriate English vocabulary and
        grammar.
      • Ability
        to read, write and understand standard English text and
        directives.
      • Capabilities
        to organize and prioritize work to maintain a harmonious daily work flow
        and complete work in a timely manner.
      • Ability
        to establish and maintain a courteous and cooperative working
        relationship with patients, families, and
        co-workers.
      • Ability
        to identify and differentiate specific medical equipment and patient care
        supplies.
      • Ability
        to sustain quality of work commensurate with hospital standards,
        government requirements and
        establisheddepartmentalguidelines.
      • Ability
        to adapt to changes in either workload or assignment.
      • BLS
        from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
      • Three
        months working in hospital setting strongly preferred.
