- Manages team of equipment analysts, mechanical specialists, and I&E specialists.
- Reports to Director - Technical Operations.
- Works with operations to maintain engine database for regulatory purposes and runtime reporting.
- Assists implementation and training for preventative maintenance scheduling, completion, and closeout through SAP PM.
- Oversees and review Critical Spare Parts Inventory for locations.
- Schedule and implement training to keep up with new technology and processes.
- Coordinates, conducts, and tracks mechanical Root Cause Failure Analysis utilizing TapRoot.
- Works with Overhaul coordinator to make recommendations to operational groups on order of importance based on performance analysis, hours of operation, and lube oil analysis.
- Coordinate with Technical Services group on new Federal\State regulations.
- Candidate must be a self-starter, have good organization skills, and be able to accept constantly changing priorities.
- Willingness to work in an environment where compensation is tied to performance and skill level.
Required education or minimum level:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Experience:
- 8+ years in reliability work, mechanical troubleshooting, equipment analysis, or controls troubleshooting.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of operations and maintenance of engines, gas turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors (high and low speed).
- Above average hardware and software computer skills are necessary to support the equipment in the field that is being utilized to gather the information for trending evaluation.
- Previous management experience as a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of Company procedures and Industry-related safety standards, and applicable Federal and State regulations.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Experience in administering Company-wide programs.
- Above average analytical skills are needed to identify, evaluate machinery performance, and condition levels.
- Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.
- Knowledge and be familiar with Operating, DOT and EPA Procedures, Engineering Standards, OSHA, and Safety practices and routine administrative duties.
- Must be highly motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Computer skills, familiarity with O & M and Capital budgets. Good communication skills with both internal and external customers.

- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Regular visits to compressor and pump stations, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Position requires approximately 60% travel.
- The Reliability Manager is required to live within 45 minutes of the reporting location.
- Incumbent is subject to extended workdays and/or workweeks.
- Required to carry a cell phone and is subject to 24-hr/day callout at any time for emergency response.
- Ability to travel is required and may be extensive at times.
- Candidate must possess or be able to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC).
- Be able to lift to 50 lbs occasionally
- Driving, walking, standing, frequently.
