Position Summary: The Workforce Administrative Coordinator is part of the adult education team at Briya Public Charter School - a leading two-generation education program serving immigrant parents and their young children in Washington, D.C. Briya is a Tier One Public Charter School, consistently achieving the highest educational outcomes through its innovative, family-centric programming. Briya's workforce development programs provide integrated education and training in the fields of healthcare and early childhood education. Through these programs, adult learners prepare for national industry-recognized certifications in high-demand careers while also increasing their academic and workforce development skills and knowledge. The Workforce Administrative Coordinator supports workforce students, alumni and evening programming. Briya has a strategic partnership with Mary's Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center, further strengthening student families with comprehensive medical, dental, and social services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Typical Work Schedule: Monday-Wednesday 12:00pm- 9:00pm; Thursday 12:00pm-6:30pm: Friday 9:00am-3:30pm General administrative tasks

Qualifications: The WF Administrative Coordinator must have the following knowledge, skills and/or abilities: Education and/or Experience
Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out moderately complex, muti-step instructions and make appropriate independent decisions as necessary. Physical Demands-Regularly required sitting; frequently required reaching with hands and arms, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, or hearing; must be able to lift objects up to twenty-five pounds.
