Sr PLM Analyst - Product Development

Job Summary

The Senior PLM Analyst is responsible for leading the development, implementation and maintenance of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system and processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the PLM system effectively supports the product development lifecycle, from conception to end-of-life. The Senior PLM Analyst will also analyze current PLM processes, identify areas for improvement, and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The objective will also include to collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure the smooth operation of regional and global applications on a daily basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of PLM systems. and/or contribute as needed to on-going support activities, working with business users and IT partners to identify issues, perform root cause analysis and resolve issues.
  • Lead and/or contribute to projects and process improvement initiatives. Participate in business requirements definition, design, configuration, testing and deployment tasks.
  • Create process flow documents, functional specifications, create/ execute test scripts as needed for projects or initiatives.
  • Provide user support for NAM and other global regions. Availability for off-hours support tasks is required, as needed, and as part of the off-hour support rotation schedule.
  • Provide training and develop training materials while assisting other team members on application, platform and interface knowledge and methods.
  • Ensure compliance with Kontoor policies regarding system access, data security and change control.

Prior Work Experience

  • Proficiency with PLM software (e.g. PTC Flex PLM, Centric PLM, Dassault systems ENOVIA, Bamboo Rose)
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and lifecycle management (e.g. Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g. Jira)
  • Experience with ERP systems and their integration with PLM systems. Understanding of middleware and APIs for system integration
  • Strong knowledge of database systems (e.g. SQL, Oracle, MySQL)
  • Strong understanding of apparel product development process and lifecycle management
  • Experience with data migration and synchronization between different systems
  • Proficiency with reporting tools and business intelligence platforms - create dashboards and reports to visualize PLM data
  • Ability to create training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users

Education and/or Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other relevant experience. Master's degree preferred.
