Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Midstream Analytics Specialist to join our Business Development team. This role serves as a steppingstone into Business Development or other midstream roles within our company. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and internal teams. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain an understanding of terminal operations and customer-related issues, while collaborating with data scientists on complex analytical projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Interpretation and Analytics:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decisions.
- Assist in developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Translate complex data findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Develop new ways to improve and automate manual reporting efforts.
Customer & Operations Support:
- Work closely with the operations and Business Development teams to identify and address customer-related issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving operational and accounting challenges through data-driven solutions.
- Act as a liaison between Business Development and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and accurate invoicing.
- Ensure required government reporting of terminal activities are completed and filed timely and accurately.
Collaboration with Analytical Teams:
- Partner with data scientists on larger analytical projects, providing support and interpreting results.
- Communicate data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders to drive business decisions.
- Contribute to the development of analytical models and tools that enhance business processes.
Business Development Support:
- Support the Business Development team in identifying market trends, customer behaviors, and business opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support Midstream Management and Finance Departments for monthly reporting data and reports.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to drive business growth and improve customer experience.
- Participate in Accounting close activities to ensure the Customers are Invoiced correctly and the department activities are booked appropriately.
- Participate in terminal acquisition process.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree required in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Technical Skills:
- Basic proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Understanding of statistical analysis and methodologies.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to translate technical findings into business-friendly language.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
