The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Plant Maintenance Worker to work at our Levy Lite Ohio location in Middletown, OH. The Plant Maintenance Worker will perform various maintenance duties in the plant and pit. The Plant Maintenance Worker will analyze malfunctions and repairs, rebuilds, and maintains crushing, screening, and conveyor equipment. Experience in pipe fitting to be able to disconnect and add pipes for maintenance. Pay: Starting at $27/hr based on experience Shift: 4 on 4 off 6pm-6am Benefits Competitive pay Tuition Assistance/Reimbursement Comprehensive Benefit Plan Development Opportunities Responsibilities The Plant Maintenance Worker will: Service plant and equipment as needed (e.g. minor adjustments, lubrication, cutting, welding). Assist with maintenance repairs as needed Comply with all company safety rules and regulations Perform preventive maintenance Oil, grease, and clean machine's and their parts Inspect equipment to evaluate machine's operational ability Inspect and dismantle machines and equipment to locate the causes of malfunction to correct the issue Repair defective parts of drive mechanism or hydraulic system Welds and fabricates equipment and parts Perform other projects as assigned by supervisor Skills The ideal candidate will have: Ability to work from elevated platforms, catwalks, or man-lifts Knowledge of plant equipment, conveyor systems, screens, wash plant, and crushers Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify mechanical malfunctions with knowledge of hydraulics, Ability to cut, weld, and fabricate steel Ability to identify and assist in repair of mechanical malfunctions Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time and lift 750 lbs. Ability to work outdoors, tolerate multiple terrain and environmental variations Ability to manipulate tools (e.g. hand tool, power tools) Good communication and radio skills Valid Driver's License To Apply Please submit your resume.
