Description

  1. Collaborates with internal and external groups to develop, monitor, and manage K-8 web properties, including Inquiry in Action, Middle School Chemistry, Adventures in Chemistry, and more.
  2. Leads the ChemClub program, including budget and contractors as needed.
  3. Collaborates with AACT to develop, update, and publish classroom resources and professional development opportunities for K-8 teachers of chemistry.
  4. Contributes to other Education Division web-based initiatives as needed.


This role is based in our Washington, DC office. A reasonable rate of compensation for this position is between $142,000 to $192,000 per year.

Education
Bachelors of Chemistry (preferred)
Experience
5 years: Leading teacher teams (preferred)
5 years: Teaching content standards (NGSS, etc.) (preferred)
5 years: K-12 classroom instruction (required)
10 - 15 years: Editing (required)
10 - 15 years: Science classroom resource development (required)
10 - 15 years: Program Management Experience (required)
