Account Executive: This is where you come in.

We're looking for a Controls Account Executive who with a specific expertise with building control systems, utility incentives and performance management services. Individual will have demonstrated experience with developing retrofit and bid proposals, specifications, and detailed estimates for owner direct building control systems. S/he is also expected to monitor quality of value in provided services to assure client satisfaction. We empower employees to make decisions that elicit Customer loyalty and referrals. Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:

People:

  • Guide and support engineers, estimators, project managers, and field personnel throughout projects.
  • Collaborate with staff and customers during all project phases.
  • Foster strong internal relationships and integration across departments.

Customer Base:

  • Safeguard and enhance the existing customer base.
  • Increase sales volume and profit margins while ensuring the company's capacity to deliver.
  • Develop and secure new customer relationships.

Marketing and Sales:

  • Identify, pitch, and negotiate new contracts.
  • Promote and highlight the company's value engineering and the advantages of being a full-service mechanical contractor.

Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role?

  • A minimum of four years of sales experience in the mechanical design-build market.
  • A strong track record of successfully negotiating sales, achieving profit margins, and managing commitments.
  • Experience in developing retrofit and software upgrade bid proposals, specifications, and detailed estimates for building control systems, with Tridium experience preferred.
  • A practical understanding of mechanical systems combined with a focus on customer service.
  • At least four years of experience in mechanical engineering and/or hands-on field experience with HVAC systems and piping.
  • A deep understanding of and commitment to MacDonald-Miller's Operating Guidelines, Operational Beliefs, and Customer Commitment.
  • Experience in working collaboratively with marketing teams to develop and implement strategies that ensure a consistent and strong company image.
  • A proven ability to protect and grow the customer base.
  • The capability to prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals to both new and existing customers, leading to profitable results.

Compensation: Base salary of $90,000 annually, plus commissions and vehicle compensation.
